Selfridges' Festival Beauty Box Triumph!

It was like Christmas morning opening my Selfridges Beauty Box! It was my first ever Beauty Box from Selfridges and boy, it was good! The current theme is ‘festival beauty’ and I must say, all the products are perfect festival must-haves!

Hydrating Intense Night Cream by Bobbi Brown

Wow! If there was a cream version of the Rolls Royce car, this luxurious wonder-cream would be it! I love applying this cream, it’s so smooth, thick and balmy. It’s amazing! I started using it around two weeks ago, and I haven’t looked back since! The cream was developed by the clever little guys at Bobbi Brown. When they say it a hydrating ‘intense’ night cream, it really is! It is jam-packed full of seriously-intensive ingredients that nourish, and hydrate more »

Dr Bronner's Magic 18-In-1 Liquid Soaps!

As an environmentally-aware-beauty-addict, I am always psyched to hear about a company that delivers top-quality products that are ethical, and also environmentally friendly. The company Dr Bronner is dedicated to the preservation of this planet, and to the protection of the animals on it. It goes without saying therefore, that none of their products have been tested on animals! They are also completely fair trade, which is just, so awesome! Why can’t more companies be like this?

Beautifully-Brilliant, Bobbi Brown Lip Balm!

This is THE BEST lip balm I have ever used. FACT! This Bobbi Brown lip balm comes in a cool, silver tin with a retro design. The pink balm inside doesn’t have much of a scent, when you open the lid, which I’m thankful for! Some lip balms can have a synthetic aroma, when they are trying to emulate a fruity scent, which isn’t very appealing!

Paul & Joe Carousel Eye shadow £17

There is no way that this product is make-up! Surely it should be classed as a work of art! It would look right at home in an art gallery, as well as on my dressing table! I didn’t want to try the eye shadow out at first, just in case I ruined  the intricate design! If you haven’t seen this product before; basically, the magical fairies at Paul And Joe, have created an eye shadow palette in the style of more »

Orico London Superico Vitamin Rich Facial Oil £28

I had never considered using an oil on the face before! For some reason I had associated the word ‘oil’ (in products for the face), as ‘bad’, as if it would immediately make me have dripping wet, oily-skin, and I would forever be using blotting papers. Clearly that was an irrational thought. But the more I consider the topic, the more I realise, there isn’t that much information out there, about facial oils and their purpose. So I imagine many more »

Paul & Joe Body and Hair Mist £11.50

This mist is my new BFF at the moment! Paul and Joe Beaute, have yet again produced a product that I will not be able to  live without! This spray has been constantly by my side since the first spray, ‘It was love at first spray!’ The aroma consists of orange flower water, roses and wild musk. But the smell of roses is the most prevalent. It’s such a wonderful floral scent, as if a bouquet of 100 roses were more »

Paul & Joe Protective Fluid Foundation £27

This foundation is so good! It’s lightweight, nourishing and long lasting – perfect! It comes in a glass, pump-action bottle, which is identical to the Pearl Primer that I reviewed a few days ago. The luxurious bottle holds 30ml of the ‘Protective Fluid Foundation’, but the pump action ensures that you only take a small amount each time. To be honest, you don’t need a great deal to provide a even complexion. I use three pumps of the foundation, for a light coverage. Obviously, a higher coverage, will more »

Weleda, Skin Food Moisturiser £8.95

If it’s good enough for Adele , I want to try it! That’s what I thought after reading an article where Adele sings the praises of this cult Weleda product! She said, ” I wear a lot of make-up when I’m working, so I like to use Skin Food by Weleda because I really feel replenished when I do”.
