School’s out for summer, and it’s time to pack for your holidays…you’re excited about the sun, sand, and sea, but the thought of packing fills you with dread, and you haven’t got a clue what to take in your toiletry bag. Sound familiar?
I have the perfect holiday-essential list for you!
So for starters you need a nice toiletry bag.. I like these:
Make Up –You will need waterproof mascara, water proof eye liner, lip balm with SPF, eye shadow, all round highlighter, bronzer, tinted moisturiser with SPF, concealer, lip gloss and nail varnish. Here’s a few I particularly like;
Benefit Bronze of the Champions £26 Getting a small make-up set is a good idea so you don’t have to carry lots around. This one is great because it includes, bronzer, lip gloss, mascara, highlighter and eye shadow! Perfect for handbags or beach bags!
Hair – These are the hair products I like to use on holiday!
Skin- It’s important to keep up-to-date with your skincare regime while you are away. You could put your own products into small jars like the Bobbi Brown set that comes with an easy-to-use funnel, or you could try some of the following products:
Or you could buy a ‘try me’ set that includes cleanser, toner and moisturiser. My favourites are these two:
Toiletries – The basic toiletry essentials are deodorant, body wash, body cream, tooth brush, tooth paste, antibacterial hand gel, nail varnish remover, hand wipes and any sanitary products. However, if you’re going on a girly holiday, breath freshener and blotting paper will keep you looking and feeling tip-top!
Cowshed Moisturising Antibacterial Hand Gel £7 (Feels, and softens like hand cream, works like hand gel)
Paul and Joe Limited Edition Blotting Papers £3.50 (cures any hot flushes!)
One of the most essential things to remember on holidays in a sunny climate is sun cream. Keep topping it up throughout the day, to avoid sunburn and don’t forget the lips and hair that can also become damaged. You’ll be glad to know that you can still get a nice tan whilst using sun cream, especially if you use St Tropez sun protection with tan enhancer!
Here’s some more sun protection products I would recommend. Make sure you at least take sun cream and after sun.
Protect your hair in the pool with Swimcap by Philip Kingsley £8.90
