Elemis Instant Refreshing Gel – £29.50

After a long day of dance rehearsals this was my ultimate best friend. I would rub it into my aching legs and feet, and it was like an immediate pick-me-up. It was cooling and soothing at the same time, it felt so good! Although after dancing you do tend to get blisters on your feet – beware you don’t get this gel on them as it hurts – trust me! But this gel isn’t made just for dancers of course, it’s for anyone with aching muscles. I now use it regularly on my upper back and neck. The gel consists of arnica, birch, witch hazel, camphor and menthol, the smell is almost as refreshing as the feeling it gives. I have also been told that you can use it on the temples and across the forehead to relieve tension. It is also an ideal product to take when travelling to pep up tired legs.

Soap and Glory XL Sit Tight – £16.50

I like the premise of this product, the applicator delivers the gel in a massaging fashion which really helps it soak into the skin and increase the blood flow to the buttocks and thighs. I find the idea of sitting down and reading a magazine while also toning my bottom very appealing, but is it all too good to be true? The truth is I like using this product I like the smell and the packaging, it has helped my cellulite, but not massively. I guess if you use it more often and accompany application with exercise and drinking more water you would see even more results. Because of that I would definitely recommend trying this product, beware it does heat up when first applied but that is normal.

Nip+Fab Bust Fix – £16.25

Have I noticed a difference since using this product after 3 months? I’m sorry to say no! The pearly cream, smells alright and does make the skin soft but it doesn’t do what it sets out to, in my case anyway. As ever, this cream may work for you and Nip Fab products are usually  great products so if you can afford to try it, do. I actually think the Palmers Bust Cream is better than this one, and its £10 cheaper. But I would just point out that both of these creams don’t make that much of a difference on their own, so I would suggest using them as a supplement to specific pectoral exercises to achieve a perkier bust.

Nip+Fab Tummy Fix – £19.25

So this product isn’t going to give you a toned stomach without exercise or a controlled diet! I thought I’d get that out of the way… there is always the hope that a new cream or gel that is called tummy fix means that you don’t have to put in any effort other than applying it. That isn’t the case I’m afraid! What you need is liposuction or a gastric band if you don’t want to put any effort in !!!  What I did like about this product is that is smooths the skin and it tightens the midriff so it makes me more aware of holding my core muscles.

Dream Cream Hand and Body Mosturiser by Lush – £10.95

My staple body product. There is a reason this is one of Lush’s best products and that’s because it has everything you could possibly want from a moisturizer. The cooling and soothing effect of applying this cream is wonderful, especially for sore skin. It’s suitable for sensitive skin too which is an added bonus for the people who suffer from eczema and have a life stuck using E45!!  It softens the skin and really sinks in well. The consistency is good and the smell is divine ( I think they must have packed nearly all the nicest smelling essential oils in there or something?).
