The Wild Rose Beauty Balm has become some-what of a cult favourite, and I can understand why! The moment I opened the cobalt blue jar containing 50g’s of pure rosy goodness, I was in love! The smell of roses is so delicious, it is reminiscent of a typical English garden, full of blossoming flowers. To me, this product is England, in a jar! It glides onto the skin with such ease, and nourishes, as you massage it into the skin. Only a small amount is needed, so the jar lasts a long time. It also comes with a free organic muslin cloth to enable you to try the various suggested uses. The balm is suitable for all skin types, and it has been dermatologically tested. It’s so versatile, I’m loving finding new uses for it every day! The organic wild rosehip seed oil is one of the richest natural sources of vitamins, including A, B1 and B2. These are essential nutrients, antioxidants and essential fatty acids, which we need to maintain healthy skin.
Just some of the uses of the Wild Rose Beauty Balm:
*It can be used as a cleanser, just smooth onto the skin after removing any make-up, then rinse with warm water.
*It can be used to moisturise areas of rough skin, such as the knees or elbows. You don’t need a lot , so use sparingly and you will get lovely soft skin in no time!
*It can be used as a gentle exfoliant too. Apply to the face as you would a cleanser, then using the muslin cloth (dipped in hot water), remove the balm using circular motions. This will enable you to remove any dead skin cells at the same time as cleansing the skin. It really gives one a ‘fresh faced’ appearance, and leaves the skin lovely and smooth. I personally enjoy dampening the whole muslin cloth with hot water, and before using it to wipe away the balm, just placing the cloth over the face for a couple of minutes It feels relaxing, indulgent and enhances the effects of the exfoliation.
*When the skin feels abused by the winter cold air or too much time in the sun, I find a thin layer applied before bedtime, and left on overnight, allows the balm to soak into the skin, and soothe the affected areas.
*It can be used to keep eyebrows neat and tidy and as a lip balm.
