On the 21st of February the Celebrity Juice panel-host gave birth to a little boy named Rex Rayne Wood, (aw, such a lovely name!) She took to Twitter to say that her and Jesse were ‘over the moon’ and ‘beyond in love’. It’s really wonderful when you see a person such as Fearne who has been constantly doing charity work since her rise to fame (and probably before, but we wouldn’t know about that!) receiving some happiness in her life, that is truly well deserved. When looking on her website you see the numerous charities that Fearne supports and you wonder how she ever had time to work!
Some of the charities Fearne endorses on her site are: Children In Need, Coppafeel, Post Pals, Macmillan Cancer Support and also Sport Relief. She also helped Comic Relief when she famously climed Mount Kilimanjaro with Alesha Dixon, Kimberley Walsh, Denise Van Outen and Cheryl Cole, among others in 2009 . Fearne is also known for her quirky yet ‘want it now’ fashion choices. I love her sense of fun with her outfits and she isn’t afraid to put clashing prints or colours together and yet somehow she still looks good. Most likely her trend will end up in the next week’s set of glossy magazines and everybody will be clashing ‘spots and stripes’ for example from then on. Such is her influence on popular fashion.
A particular trend I even tried myself after seeing Fasionista Fearne, was the round retro sunglasses look, that I saw her wearing many times when she was photographed out and about. In those glasses she looked awesome, and if she was on Kirstie Allsop’s programme the glasses would be described as upcycled vintage, and on Fearne the look was literally at the top of the scale of ‘coolness’. However, myself in these retro round little sunglasses created rather a different result, if we are keeping the ‘scale of coolness’ analagy, it was as if a huge hippo sat on the scale and then 20 more joined him till they reached the bottom, – that is how uncool I looked!
Need not worry though because I could always go on http://www.very.com to restyle myself in one of Fearne’s many creations. She certainly is very talented and has a wonderful artistic side, as all the designs are hand-drawn by her! She is now on her 10th successful collection for Very. Radio presenting , Television, Drawing, Modelling, Fashion Design… Is there anything Fearne can’t do? I also have huge respect for her taking time out to spend with the baby, something tells me she is going to make an awesome Mother too!
